Lama Inge at Lotus Light

Lama Yeshe Zangmo, known as Lama Inge (Inge Sandvoss) was born in Germany in 1939 and moved to the United States in 1958. A direct student of reincarnate Lama Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, she was one of the first Western women ordained as a lama. She is the resident lama of Padma Ling in Spokane Washington. She also travels and teaches at various dharma centers in the United States and has taught in Germany and Nepal. Lama Inge’s voice and clarity bring blessings not to be missed.

In our great fortune, Lama Inge will return to Knoxville October 4-11, 2018. She will offer the empowerment for Red Tara practice including a Buddhist refuge ceremony at the Lotus Light Center starting at 6 PM on Friday October 5 and will teach on the beautiful and accessible English Red Tara practice Saturday 10 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 12 PM

Please arrive early in order to get settled before the Lama arrives. Flower offerings and donations to the Lama Inge are encouraged. Volunteers are needed earlier in the day Friday to help with preparations, as well as throughout all events.

Suggested donation for the empowerment and weekend of teachings is $75 or $60 for LSLK, MOCD, or Lotus Light members. Work/study is available. Contact Traci Black at 865-382-1585 for work/study options.
