Ajeet’s Yoga Series resumes
Opening up Spinal Energy to experience your Power

Thursdays, 12:00-1:30 pm

Continuing April 4, 11, 18 & 25 !!

Do you have limited flexibility, or serious pain, recovering from injury, or just a crazy-busy mind? Maybe you want to do yoga but are not sure you can do a regular yoga class.

If so, this gentle yoga series is for you! Svaroopa® Yoga (swa-roo-pa) means “Bliss Yoga.” It’s a profoundly healing approach to yoga. This is a slow yoga, with careful alignments, customized to your body’s needs. It is accessible — yet profound

Each class in this 4-week series begins the same, with you reclining on your back, in a yoga pose named Shavasana, your knees and feet resting on soft cushions or a chair. Your teacher guides you through a relaxing full-body awareness practice and a slow yogic breathing process.

Each pose that follows targets a specific part of your spine, to unravel deep tensions. This creates space between your vertebrae and more interior room for your internal organs to do their jobs. You end with another guided relaxation.

Where does this Yoga come from?

Svaroopa® yoga comes from tantric roots in India, first taught in the USA by Swami Nirmalananda in 1985. Its specialty is spinal decompression, the targeted release of your body’s deepest layers of tension. You gain strength as well as vitality and clarity of mind, all from an easy physical process. Our core opening poses provide profound pain relief. They also work deeper. They open you to your transformational process, providing deep inner experiences of your Divinity.

The Series Cost is by donation. Because of how much I believe in the healing power of yoga, this 4-week series is offered by donation. If you can make the whole month of classes, great, but even if you get to just one class, it’ll make you feel better!

“A teacher meets students where they are and moves them to a whole new place within themselves. In your Gentle Yoga classes, you’ll get happier, healthier, and more joyful. And perhaps discover bliss.”
